SYNOPSIS
Absorbed by a video showing a deceased young woman on the sidewalk, Rêve goes on a journey in reverse where a cathode ray television screen seems to communicate
with him and transform his reality, destroying his own goals and engaging him in endless backtracking.
After writing a manifesto about filmmaking and production that encourages instinct and speed of creation, director Adrien Vel joined forces with the fresh lanterna collective, which produces experimental and
avant-garde films. Conceived as an essay, an attempt at expressionist cinema, the film was written, produced, directed and edited in a few months with less than five hundred euros. The idea was to keep the
original vision of the film while letting the outside elements jostle its form.
